The Peery Piano Curriculum begins at the earliest stage of playing the piano, but can be for students of all ages. This very detailed curriculum includes instructions on what young piano students should practice or review daily and takes players from learning proper hand positioning and posture all the way to preparing inspired students for auditions at the Conservatory Level. Along the way, piano students can "certify" in the individual levels and receive an emblem indicating their progression through this incredibly effective program that relies heavily on making the right progress during
practice and includes specific assignments that are completed each week. The Peery Piano Curriculum is based on the teaching of Liszt, Beethoven and Bach and makes extensive use of the Practice Sheet and Practice Countdown Clock.
This is a chance to enjoy the company of other children learning piano at the same time your child learns the techniques to become an outstanding pianist is that is their goal. Whether kids are learning to play for fun or to increase their skill level, both are available right here on Peery Piano. You can follow the curriculum progressively and send in videos, or you can post "Just for Fun" videos on the Student Page so you can get to know fellow parents and piano students.
